Ross brings unrivalled knowledge and experience of fire safety to effectively lead on strategy and consultancy with GTS. Having spent more than two decades in the Royal Air Force, Ross progressed through the ranks from fire fighter, taking on numerous appointments in fire safety and succeeded in becoming a commissioned officer.

During his role as fire safety assurance manager at City of Lincoln Council, he worked on resident engagement and building safety, as well as surveying high-rise buildings in anticipation of the Building Safety Act. He now leads the provision for all fire engineering consultancy and is responsible for growing and organising a multi-faceted award-winning fire safety division.
